Africa@Scale 2019 - The Next Generation of Global Enterprises

The Africa @ Scale conference took place on September 27th, 2019, at Oxford University. Organized by the Africa Foresight Group, the event aimed to address the constraints African-owned businesses face in scaling beyond their countries of origin. Bringing together African business leaders, policymakers, and investors, the conference highlighted investment opportunities and the successes of African companies that have achieved regional success.

Keynote speakers included Prof. Wale Adebanwi from Oxford University, Dr. Abdu Mukhtar of the African Development Bank, and Yasmin Kumi, the founder of Africa Foresight Group. The event featured panel discussions with African CEOs and investors, a networking lunch, and the launch of AFG's report, "Local Champions in Africa: Emerging Global Enterprises."
